Christine Dorsett (b. 1945) is the ex-wife of Samuel Delacroix, and the mother of Sheila and Arthur Delacroix. She met Samuel in an acting class in 1963 and the two married before Sheila's birth in 1964. Her husband became physically abusive, at one point hitting her in the stomach when she was pregnant with Arthur, causing him to be born prematurely. She stayed with Samuel until 1970, at which time she left the family; she filed for divorce in 1973, citing mental and physical abuse.
She later married real estate developer Ralph Waters and moved to 312 Deep Waters Drive, Mountaingate Estates in Palm Springs. In January of 2002, she was visited by LAPD detectives Harry Bosch and Jerry Edgar regarding the disappearance of her son in May of 1980.
When the bones found in Laurel Canyon were confirmed to be the remains of her son, she arranged for burial at Forest Lawn Cemetery. At the memorial service she briefly spoke with Bosch who gave her a box of information on underprivileged children that were being supported by Nicholas Trent. He asked her to continue sending money to these children.
