D. H. Reilly is a resident of Los Angeles.

He had hired Catalina Perez to clean his apartment on Friday nights until late 1998 when Perez was shot and killed on her way back to his apartment to pick a notebook she had left there.

"D. H. Reilly," standing for "Doghouse Reilly," may have been an alias used by criminal middle-man Leo Renfro.

The name appears in a byline of a 1992 newspaper article concerning a drug bust in the San Fernando Valley.

The alias "Doghouse Reilly" was formerly given by private investigator Philip Marlowe to Carmen Sternwood in Raymond Chandler's 1939 novel the Big Sleep.
