Deborah Church is the widow of Norman Church and the mother of two daughters. She is a bell-shaped woman with short, dark hair and blue eyes. She was apparently unaware of her husband's activities as a serial killer. It is unclear whether she was aware that he had rented the apartment on Hyperion St. under an alias.
In 1993, she hired civil rights attorney Honey Chandler and sued LAPD detective Harry Bosch for her husband's death. The trail took place four years after her husband's death. On the day the trial began, a body was found in the foundation of the former Bing's pool hall. The body had all the signs of being a victim of the Dollmaker.
