James "Jimmy Pins" Pinzi is the nephew of Carlo Pinzi, and the operator of X Marks the Spot in Los Angeles.
LAPD detective Harry Bosch encountered Pinzi when he visited the X in November of 1993 in an effort to identify a recently-discovered murder victim.
