Harry Bosch Wiki

Kathy Kohl is a forensic archaeologist with the medical examiners' office.

On 1 January 2002, she was assigned to the exhumation of a body later identified as Arthur Delacroix. She coined the term "City of Bones" to refer to the excavation of the scattered remains.

In September of 2006, she was assigned to the exhumation of Marie Gesto, and was later held at gunpoint by serial killer Raynard Waits after he led investigators to Gesto's body and escaped police custody.

In 2010 she oversaw excavation of three areas within Franklin Canyon Park based on the fact that Jason Jessup had been observed visiting these locations. A silver charm bracelet was found at the third location, but no bones or other evidence.
