MItzi Elliot was the wife of Walter Elliot. When she and Walter married she had signed a prenuptial agreement with a vesting clause indicating that after a certain number of years of marriage she would be entitled to roughly half of Walter's net worth in the event of divorce. As the date for vesting approached, she became involved in an affair with her interior decorator. After the prenup agreement had vested, she told Walter of her intention to divorce him. Walter found them together in his Malibu home and killed them with an unregistered Smith & Wesson .44 magnum. He then disposed of the gun in the ocean. Mitzi was 39 years of age at the time of her death.
