Dr. Nathan Ford was the founder of the Law Enforcement Foundation. In 1997 he was approached by Jack McEvoy who was requesting access to the Foundation's study of police suicides. Dr. Ford denied MEvoy's request and informed the FBI of McEvoy's request. Later, when Dr. Ford learned that his employee, Michael Warren, had provided the study to McEvoy, he terminated Warren.
