Nestor Delgado is a character in Bosch. Delgado is an LAPD commander. He is Assistant Chief of the department as indicated by the three star rank insignia on his collar. He clashes with Chief Irvin Irving over policing the civil unrest in the wake of the Howard Elias murder - Delgado recommends a strong police presence at a protest rally which Irving feels would be inflammatory.
