In 1995, he was arrested by LAPD detective Harry Bosch and FBI profiler Terry McCaleb for the murder of a 15-year-old girl. Ten years later, a week before he was set to be executed, Seguin was visited by Bosch, who tried to persuade Victor to reveal the identity of the girl he had killed, which Bosch had never managed to discover.
