William "Bill" Clinton was a tow-truck driver for Aardvark Towing in the 1980's. He was present on 16 February 1986 when Jason Jessup was identified as the man who had abducted Melissa Landy. Clinton rode in the police car to the Landy home. Jessup asked to borrow Clinton's Didgers cap, which Clinton allowed him to do.

Some time later he left the towing business and opened his own auto restoration shop, Presidential Motors. He works primarily on classic British cars. In 2010 when Jason Jessup was brought to Los Angeles for retrial, Clinton spoke with investigators and provided useful background information on what occurred that day. He also testified at trial including establishing that the tow truck drivers were well aware of the alley behind the El Rey Theatre.
